Questions / Answers
Frequently asked.
What is the best lube for sensitive skin?
Look for water-based lube that is glycerin-free, paraben-free, and fragrance-free. Yes WB and Sliquid Naturals are our most-recommended options for sensitive skin. If you have ongoing irritation, see a doctor before trying new products.
How often should I do kegel exercises?
Most people see results from 5-10 minutes a day, three or four times a week. Consistency matters more than duration. Kegel balls or pelvic floor trainers help by adding gentle resistance, but bodyweight kegels work too.
Are scented intimate washes safe?
For most people, no. The vulva is self-cleaning and the inside of the vagina even more so. Scented washes can disrupt the natural pH and microbiome, leading to irritation, infections, or thrush. Plain warm water on the outside is enough; if you want a wash, use one that is unscented and pH-balanced.
Can I use coconut oil as a lubricant?
You can, but with caveats. Coconut oil works well as a natural massage oil and lubricant, but it breaks down latex condoms (so cannot be used with them) and can contribute to yeast overgrowth in some people. For most reliable results, use a dedicated water-based or silicone-based lube.
What is the difference between water-based and silicone lube?
Water-based lube is the most versatile - it works with all toys, all condoms, and washes off easily. Silicone-based lube is silkier and lasts longer (especially in water) but cannot be used with silicone toys, as it will degrade them.
