How Gal Pal started

Gal Pal started in 2018 with a simple idea: shopping online for a sex toy should feel comfortable, exciting and informative.

You should be able to look around, learn what a product does and decide whether it appeals to you. You should be able to ask a question without feeling silly. And you should have enough information to choose for yourself, whether it is your first toy or your fifteenth.

That is the shop we set out to build. We are still building it, with the same curiosity and plenty of opinions about what belongs on the shelves.

Chosen, checked, explained

We choose products we can explain clearly. What does this toy do? What is it made from? How big is it? What might it feel like to use? Those details matter more than a dramatic product description.

For toys, we favour non-porous materials such as silicone, glass, stainless steel and ABS plastic. We check material information before listing a product and put the useful details where you can find them.

We work with established brands like LELO, We-Vibe, Womanizer, and Lovense, alongside a growing list of smaller, female-led labels we have come to trust.

If a product does not earn its place, it does not get one. We would rather have a small, considered range than a vast catalogue of things we cannot vouch for.

Plain box, every time

Your order arrives in a plain brown box, with no Gal Pal branding on the outside. What you buy is your business.

UK delivery is £3.99, free over £60. Most orders ship within one working day. 30-day returns on unopened items - and if anything arrives faulty, we will sort it.

We founded Gal Pal in Glasgow in 2018. We are a small, female-led business, and we care about making this a welcoming place to explore pleasure on your own terms.
